Connect Ghost
Publishing to a Ghost blog.
What this key lets us do. It lets us create posts and drafts. It cannot change your theme, your members or your billing.
Step by step
- Sign in to your Ghost admin area.
- Open Settings, then Integrations.
- Press Add custom integration and give it a name — “OrchardRank”.
- Ghost shows a Content API key and an Admin API key. You need the Admin one: it is longer and has a colon in the middle.
- Copy the Admin API key and the API URL shown next to it, and paste both here.
Bold words are the exact buttons and menu names to look for. These are screens of other companies and they move them — if the layout does not match, searching that bold name in their own help usually finds where it went.
What to paste here
| Field | What it looks like |
|---|---|
| API URL | https://yourblog.com — as shown on the integration screen |
| Admin API key | Two parts joined by a colon: 6410…:e91b… |
What usually goes wrong
- The Content API key is the short one and can only read. Pasting it means nothing can be published, so check for the colon.
- Ghost hosted on ghost.io works the same way — the integration screen is identical.
Now do it
Connect your site →Whatever you paste is encrypted the moment it arrives. It is never shown back to you and nobody here can read it — support sees a fingerprint like “ending 7f3a2c”, never the value.
