Affiliate programme terms
The whole programme in plain words. Everything measurable here is a number, not an adjective — an affiliate should be able to predict what they will be paid before they promote anything.
Who can join
Every OrchardRank account is already in the programme. There is nothing to apply for and nobody approves you: your affiliate ID is derived from your account, so it exists from the moment the account does and never changes.
What we count
- Badge shown — the tracking pixel in a banner or snippet you embedded was loaded. It is not a claim that we can see your website: without a pixel somewhere, this number stays at zero and clicks still work normally.
- Click — somebody followed your link to us.
- Signed up — somebody who followed your link created an account.
- Sale — that person paid.
One visitor counts once per day for shows and once per day for clicks. A refresh is not a new impression. Your own visits, while signed in, never count.
Attribution
Somebody who follows your link is remembered for 30 days. If they sign up any time in that window, the signup is yours — they do not have to sign up in the same visit.
Last link wins. If they follow somebody else’s link after yours and then sign up, the signup belongs to that person. Attribution is written once at signup and never rewritten afterwards, so it cannot be moved later by anybody, including us.
Commission
You earn 30% of what a customer you introduced pays. The rate is applied at the moment of the sale and stored with that sale — if the programme rate changes later, everything you already earned keeps the rate it earned at.
A refunded sale is reversed — the commission leaves your balance, because it was never money the business kept.
Sub-affiliates
Everyone who joins through your link gets their own affiliate link, immediately and without applying for anything. When one of them introduces a paying customer, you earn 5% of what that customer pays.
It is paid by us, not by them. They still receive their full 30%; your 5% is added on top. Nobody’s commission is ever reduced because of who introduced them.
One level, and only one. You earn from the people you introduced. You do not earn from the people they introduced — that person does. A chain of payments running further up would stop tracking who actually did the work, and this programme is not that.
The same rules apply to both tiers: no self-referral in either direction, and a reversed sale reverses both commissions, because there was no money to share.
Getting paid
Payouts are made once your approved balance passes $50. Below that, transfer fees take a meaningful share of the payment, which serves nobody — the balance simply carries forward.
Add your payment details on the affiliate page. They are stored encrypted and shown back to you only as the last few characters.
Checkout is not live on this installation yet, so no sale has been charged through the system. Impressions, clicks and signups are counting for real today; commissions start moving the day payments switch on.
What is not allowed
- Bidding on our brand name — ads bought on our name in paid search, or ads that could be mistaken for ours.
- Self-referral — introducing yourself, or an account you control, to earn on your own purchase. The system refuses it, and so do these terms.
- Coupon, cashback and voucher sites — sites that intercept somebody already on their way to buying. You are paid for introductions, not for being the last click.
- Claims we do not make. Do not promise rankings, traffic numbers, or results this product does not claim on its own pages. The ready-made copy on your affiliate page is written to be safe to post as-is.
- Spam — unsolicited email, comment spam, or automated posting.
Commissions from activity that breaks these rules are reversed. If it is unclear whether something is allowed, ask first — we would rather answer a question than reverse a payment.
Changes
We may change the rate, the threshold or the window. Changes apply from the day they are published forward — never backwards over commissions already earned. This page shows the terms in force right now, and it is generated from the same settings the system uses, so it cannot drift out of date.
