Connect Bing Webmaster Tools
New pages are sent to Bing the moment you publish, instead of waiting to be found.
What this key lets us do. It lets us tell Bing that a page exists. It cannot read your data, change your site, or remove anything.
Step by step
- Go to bing.com/webmasters and sign in. You can import everything from Google Search Console in one click if you already use it.
- Make sure your site is listed and verified.
- Open the settings menu (the gear, top right) and choose API access.
- Choose API key. Bing shows a long string of letters and numbers.
- Copy it and paste it into the Bing field in your site settings here.
Bold words are the exact buttons and menu names to look for. These are screens of other companies and they move them — if the layout does not match, searching that bold name in their own help usually finds where it went.

What usually goes wrong
- The key belongs to your Bing account, not to one website — the same key works for every site you have verified there.
- Bing accepts a limited number of URL submissions a day. We submit new articles only, never the same page twice.
